End of rant.As host to thousands of popular TV shows and movies, Hulu is a fantastic addition to your streaming catalog. VERY close to cancelling, there are so many other streaming options in 2023. Is making these rolls un-skippable really necessary, Hulu? Ooh, I can't believe I am still voluntarily paying $15/month for this. So ideally this is the solution that Hulu should be working towards, rather than forcing anything un-skippable upon the user. For example The Americans S2 E10 As an added benefit to content setup this way, I am able to skip past them because I don't care about the rating and am well aware that The Americans is an FX show. It is also worth noting that some content on Hulu manages to display TV-MA and the network logo animation without exhibiting this issue, by including them as a part of the content instead of as separate, un-skippable rolls forced upon the viewer. I have to do this little dance for EVERY EPISODE when I am watching something with these un-skippable rolls forced in before the content. So if it is a weekend and I am fortunate enough to have time to binge several episodes of a show I like, for each episode when it starts I have to sit through the un-skippable roll(s), then manually skip ahead to at least 1:00, then let it play for at least 15 full seconds while actively ignoring what is playing so I don't spoil anything for myself, then refresh the browser, then manually skip back to about 0:02, being careful not to skip all the way back to the very beginning otherwise the un-skippable roll(s) often play again, which causes me to scream out loud. X Show Returns Y Date - example Family Guy S19 E12 (says "Family Guy Returns February 19, 2023", so will probably not display this roll beyond that date).Comedy Central roll - example Brickleberry S3 E4.BBC roll - example The Office (U.K.) S1 E3.
